Gayatri Mantra (the mother of the vedas), the foremost mantra in hinduism and hindu beliefs, inspires wisdom. Its meaning is that "May the Almighty God illuminate our intellect to lead us along the righteous path".

Translation : Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.

Origin and Benefits of the Gayatri Mantra : Rishis selected the words of the Gayatri Mantra and arranged them so that they not only convey meaning but also create specific power of righteous wisdom through their utterance.

All the problems of a person are solved if he/she is endowed with the gift of righteous wisdom. Once endowed with far-sighted wisdom, a man is neither entangled in calamity nor does he tread the wrong path. A wise man finds solution to all outstanding problems. Only those persons who do not think correctly find difficulty and take wrong steps due to foolishness.

Background

Why I am in this industry?

I do not work for money, but for my passion for computers, to gain knowledge and for refining myself. But to survive in this world we need to earn our leaving, so I chose to be a computer professional converting my passion into living.

Why I am unique?

I can work on many sets of technologies, for example I started with C/C++, also even I have had my hands on cobol, then moved on to JAVA and did few projects using it. Then I switched on to Visual Basic and at last I have been working .net technologies since past two years. Same is the case with my experience with databases. I have worked on MS-Access, MYSQL, Oracle and MS-Sql 2000. Even apart from all this work, I have also done some coding in PHP.
So my idea of work is to go and work on whatever the time demands. I can achieve this because I am a fast learner. Partly, my reason for saying this is that I can learn new language or any technology in no time. I just need to start little work on it and that's it; I am ready.

Web Design Philosophy?

In these days there are lots of web sites are coming up and going down rapidly. They are not properly engineered and are not so user-friendly. Proper engineering of the web sites is necessary for developing the web site because end users of the web site are the laymen who are not at all computer savvy. One can give training to the users for the software they make but not for the web site. Irrespective of the technology we are using for the developing the web site it should be user-friendly and design should be simple and catchy. People give priority to the technology but I say end users are not bothered about what technology you are using; they need a good, clean, comprehensive and also cheap solution.
Whatever you do, user satisfaction is the most important. We are in the service industry we are getting paid for the service we provide.
